POLICE are hunting for the driver of a vehicle which ran over the foot of a school pupil.
A 14-year-old Peel schoolboy had his foot run over on his way home from Queen Elizabeth II High School on Wednesday.

It is believed the incident, which happened near the school at around 3.50pm, involved a lone male driver in a silver 4x4.

Police are appealing for any witnesses and are urging the driver of the vehicle to contact them.

Anyone with information should contact Police Constable Michelle McKillop on 842208.
